Gray skies, glistening pavement and an umbrella -- what did I tell you? Had an extra ten minutes or so after lunch to get a few shots of this charming French town. You will probably see this street again -- empty or with someone else coming or going along it.

Love this composition, with the curving street and the single pedestrian, and just that touch of wall on the left. I know it rained for much of your visit, but that glistening paving sure does some nice things for your images. #7734633Lisa A. Car July 13, 2009

Fabulous capture, Nikki! Really has a fresh feeling about it--as if I could smell the freshness of the air after a light rain. Are you in France now?! You lucky dog! #7739488Jean-Pierre Ducondi July 16, 2009

nice picture Nikki and I like the treatment you have given the image - 9/10. How would you have got ten? delayed firing the shutter for a couple more seconds. The umbrella would have fitted perfectly into the blank wall making it stand out even better! Well done. #11798503Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
