Blacksmith Shop [Store Fronts, Homefronts, and Facades ]
Uploaded: July 13, 2012 05:30:21
We live not far from Geauga County, Ohio, which is home to a very large population of Amish. One of the places we enjoy visiting is the End of the Commons General Store in Mesopotamia, one of the oldest continuously operating general stores in the country. Until recently, a colorful re-creation of old-time village shopfronts stood next to the store - this was in front of the blacksmith shop. Processed in part with DynamicPhoto. Have a great Friday (even if it IS the 13th)!

The rustic appeal of your scene here is one that I in particular enjoy. To me it holds a charm, a days gone by feeling that always takes us back to a simpler time. Beautifully composed, I love the wheel, that hunk of wood with the tools laying on top. Gorgeous colors and textures add to its beauty my friend. Marvelous look. #10227878Carol L.
